I just came across these works by artist Jeremy Mayer, who states:
“I disassemble typewriters and then reassemble them into full-scale, anatomically correct human figures. I do not solder, weld, or glue these assemblages together- the process is entirely cold assembly.”
I’m sure everyone else in the typosphere has already seen this, but it’s new to me.
(That Underwood typewriter case looks exactly like the one housing my De Luxe Quiet Tab… except that mine doesn’t have a bust sitting on top of it made out of butchered typewriter parts.)
